This is the Blarney Castle, in Ireland. I went here on a
trip the summer before I came to college. This is where I got to kiss the
Blarney Stone. It was also one of the first REAL castles I have ever been to.
It was amazing; all throughout Ireland, the remains of castles and old homes were
everywhere. It was a completely different from the “old” structure in the
United States. It really made me think about how young the architecture in the United
States is.
