During my visit to Duke, I had the opportunity to see Duke Chapel, a monstrous building whose spires are by far the tallest point on campus. The Chapel, situated in the center of campus, is meant to be the focal point of the University, which was founded with a commitment to religious principles. The striking style of the building, with pointed spires and few windows, almost tears the sky behind it.
