This is Allen Field house, home of the KU Jayhawks. It was
named after Phog Allen, the first KU basketball coach. It has been the home of
my basketball love since I was born. I go to every game I can possibly attend.
It, like all of my other posts, has such a rich history and the town and
student body are all aware of it. The student section is always packed, and one
of the most rowdy crowds I have ever seen. The building itself has gone through
several renovations, making room mainly to display different historical
achievements, or to allow for more seats. I truly think this field house shows
more school pride than any other of its kind.
