The house pictured above sits just on the shoreline and has an oceanfront view. My favorite aspect of this resort home is the way light can come into the structure. Direct and Indirect light penetrates the inside during the day essentially eliminating the need for traditional lighting. In addition, the barn style design gives it a cottage like feeling while right next to the beach. Very cool idea although I'm not sure how the house is insulated.
