This is a picture of our family's cabin in Colorado. I love this kind of architecture because it is simple and uses wood. I have always had an affinity for woodworking and the architecture commonly found in cabin construction. I really appreciate the steep pitches of roofs so that snow can fall off as it melts. I really love how beautifully crafted the walls and the patina that old wood develops over time.
