The silk market in Beijing is one of my favorite places that I visited while I was there. Although it is super busy all the time, and I got hit by 2 different cars walking into it, I really enjoyed my time here. The building is very functional for its purpose. It is large, airy and in the middle of the city. It also combines traditional chinese architecture with something more modern.
