Stata Center - Lucas Schuermann

During my visit to the Cambridge area, I had an opportunity to see MIT’s Ray and Maria Stata Center, designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Frank Ghery. The building is a fascinating standout among the mix of both historic and more modern-style buildings on campus. Columns tilt at scary angles, with twists and turns of the window-clad faces that give an impression of instability, yet the interior of the building is spacious and feels solid.
