This is the United Methodist Church located in Highland Park, TX. I love the architecture of churches, and this one especially. I appreciate the stonework of this building and the accentuation of the tower. I cannot for the life of me think of what the feature is called but I like the top of the tower, where the blocks are alternating in a rigid pattern. This is the church where George Bush attends, so it is naturally a point of interest. One interesting characteristic of this building is its distinct lack of windows. Without artificial interior lighting, this building would not be functional, because on the outside, the stained glass lets in very limited light.
