Santa Ana's Cathedral - Benjamin Colbert

This is a picture of a Cathedral in Santa Ana, El Salvador. This is in a medium sized mountain village almost secluded in this area of El Salvador. The architecture was beautiful, and it was definitely inspired by European architecture. The doors of this cathedral are usually kept open because the tropical environment and mountain winds are able to keep most buildings cool without air condition. From further up in the mountain it provides great contrast between the white building material and the green vegetation. This is why this cathedral gained the nickname La Luz to the people in the area.
