I was fortunate to be able to visit the famous falling water in the Spring of 2012. The structure was the home of the Kaufman family (owner's of Kaufman's department stores) until a few decades ago when they opened it up to the public.
This is a view from above the waterfall. This waterfall causes a lot of ambient noise in the home, but its not overpowering. The ceiling in the home are low to project its inhabitants eyes outward to focus on nature. Its a wonderful house.
