The Great Reading Room - Benjamin Colbert

The most noticeable aspect of the room was the odor of the finished wood, which came from the old furniture, and of old books that lay outside the room. The arch of the support beams and hanging light fixtures made the hall feel Victorian. The silence of the room made it obvious when someone opened the door. The echo of the door resonated in every part of the room. The lights made all areas of the hall visible from a far distance. Because of the design and planning of the Great Reading Room would make even the laziest student work.
