Downtown St. Louis - Old Theatre - Simon Ott
I have a fondness for turn of the century architecture. From the late 1800's to early 1900's I appreciate all the richness of detail that was incorporated into every built structure. From gingerbread on a farmhouse to ornate carvings on on the top of a 10 story office building I admire and appreciate the time, effort and expense put into buildings so that everyone seeing them would have something of beauty to gaze upon as they went about their day. St. Louis was full of these kinds of buildings and I loved wandering the downtown streets.
