This is a famous Lithuanian Castle. What I like about this
castle that sets it apart from the larger, grander European castles is the
brightness of it as well as the smaller scale of it. The defense barrier seems
like it is guarding a much more majestic castle inside it, but really it is
not. The architect definitely was meant to focus on defending the castle within
and not so much as the castle within seems basic and very square whereas the
outside is square, and round.
